About the IIR
The International Institute of Refrigeration, which celebrated its centenary in 2008, is an independent intergovernmental organisation with 60 member countries, nearly 500 experts and 600 corporate and private members. The organisation promotes knowledge of refrigeration and associated technologies.
Previous IIR International Congresses of Refrigeration have been held in Beijing, Washington DC and Sydney.
